This table contains approximately 94,000 records pointing to documents in the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service document repository, including links to original documents.
According to the EPA, “Risk management plans (RMPs) provide valuable information to local fire, police, and emergency response personnel to prepare for and respond to chemical emergencies in their community. Making RMP information available to the public also fosters communication and awareness to improve accident prevention and emergency response practices at the local level.” Prior to late April, 2025, the EPA provided an online tool to search for Risk Management Plans, but that online tool is no longer available. EDGI scraped the RMPs in late 2024, and this tool allows you to view those archived plans, as well do data analysis on facilities, accidents, and chemicals used. Our code is open source. The scraped plans, and the code used to collect them, can be found at [EDGI GitHub](https://github.com/edgi-govdata-archiving/epa-risk-management-plans?tab=readme-ov-file), The [**Facility View**](/risk_management_plans/facility_view) table contains a list of facilities and their EPA Risk Management Plans, including associated chemical names and NAICS codes. The [**Facility Accidents View**](/risk_management_plans/facility_accidents_view) lists all accidents found in the archived RMPs. The [**Accident Chemicals View**](/risk_management_plans/accident_chemicals_view) lista all chemicals released during accidents as found in the archived RMPs. Other tables under [Explore All Tables](/risk_management_plans) contain normalized database tables that might be useful in writing SQL queries. The EPA’s Clean Air Markets Program Data (CAMPD) provides emissions, compliance, allowance, and facility attributes data collected under programs like the Acid Rain Program and Cross-State Air Pollution Rule. This project, maintained by the [Environmental Data & Governance Initiative (EDGI)](https://envirodatagov.org/), serves as a virtual backup of CAMPD data, hosted on Zenodo and powered by Datasette. It includes hourly and daily emissions data, accessible for download or interactive exploration. The dataset is licensed under the [Open Database License (ODbL)](https://opendatacommons.org/licenses/odbl/). Explore the data interactively here or access the original data at [EPA Clean Air Markets Program Data (CAMPD)](https://campd.epa.gov/) and [Zenodo](https://zenodo.org/communities/edgi/records?q=campd&l=list&p=1&s=10&sort=bestmatch). The [**Emissions**](/campd/emissions) table contains metadata about the archived data: time unit (daily or hourly), quarter, and year. It also contains a link to the Zenodo archive. In the case of daily data, a link is provided for further querying the data using [Datasette Lite](https://lite.datasette.io).
